Role Description

The Head of Human Resources will oversee all HR functions, including creating and implementing HR strategies, managing employee relations, and ensuring compliance with labor and employment laws. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining HR policies, supporting talent acquisition and retention, and fostering a positive work environment. The Head of HR will also act as an advisor to leadership on best people practices and organizational development. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Qesm 1st 6 October, with the flexibility for some remote work.

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Lead and manage core HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
  • Oversee the full talent acquisition lifecycle, from workforce planning to onboarding and contract administration.
  • Manage payroll, social insurance, labor office procedures, and employee records with accuracy and compliance.
  • Ensure continuous improvement of HR policies, labor law adherence, and governance practices.
  • Partner with department heads on performance management, talent development, and succession planning.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives and foster a high-performance organizational culture.
  • Analyze HR metrics and provide insights to support strategic decision-making and workforce planning.
  • Represent the organization in external HR functions and maintain professional relationships with relevant stakeholders.
  • Lead organizational development initiatives during IWTE's restructuring and scale-up phase, including organizational design, role clarity, performance frameworks, and change management to support sustainable growth.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (master's degree preferred.
  • 7–10 years of progressive HR experience in recruitment, employee relations, and HR operations.
  • Proven experience in Organizational Development, including organizational restructuring, role clarity, performance frameworks, and change management within a growing or transitioning organization (scale-up or transformation stage preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of Egyptian labor law, payroll, and compliance procedures.
  • Strategic thinking and ability to align HR initiatives with organizational goals
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for leading and influencing teams
  • Proficiency in MS Office; HRIS/ERP experience is a plus.
  • Proven ability to manage hybrid work environments effectively
  • Proficiency in developing HR Policies and managing Employee Relations
  • Preferred Certifications for (HRBP) SHRM, CHRP, or HR Diploma; for (HR Supervisor) HR Diploma or equivalent (optional).
