Head of Information Technology

We are partnering with a leading organization in Saudi Arabia to appoint an experienced Head of IT to provide strategic technology leadership and drive the delivery of innovative, secure, and high-performing IT solutions across the business.

This is a confidential opportunity for a senior IT leader looking to take ownership of a broad technology portfolio, including ERP, IT infrastructure, operational technology (OT), cybersecurity, and digital transformation initiatives within a complex industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a long-term IT, ERP, and technology strategy aligned with business objectives

• Provide executive leadership across IT operations, enterprise systems, infrastructure, and technology transformation initiatives

• Lead the delivery of high-availability IT services supporting critical business operations

• Oversee IT infrastructure, networks, servers, applications, and operational technology (OT) environments

• Ensure resilient connectivity and technology support across remote and distributed locations

• Drive innovation through emerging technologies including cloud solutions, IoT, AI-driven analytics, and digital platforms

• Lead ERP strategy, application roadmaps, and business systems optimization across core functions

• Manage enterprise applications and strategic technology partnerships, including major software vendors such as SAP and Oracle

• Establish strong cybersecurity, governance, data management, and business continuity practices

• Oversee Disaster Recovery planning, system resilience, and technology risk management

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline

• Master's degree in Information Systems Management or similar field is highly desirable

• 15+ years of progressive IT experience, including significant leadership responsibility

• 5–7+ years in a senior IT leadership role (Head of IT / IT Director level)

• Proven experience managing ERP implementations and support (SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms)

• Strong background in IT infrastructure, operational technology (OT), and enterprise systems

• Experience supporting complex, distributed, or remote operational environments

• Strong understanding of cybersecurity, IT governance, data management, and business continuity

• Experience managing large-scale IT projects, budgets, vendors, and technology partners

• Certifications such as PMP, ITIL Expert, CISSP, or CISM are advantageous

• Experience within a complex industrial environment, manufacturing, engineering, infrastructure, or similar sectors is highly desirable
