Head of Information Technology

We're partnered with a growing, forward-thinking organisation seeking a Head of IT. This is a pivotal leadership role for a well-rounded IT professional who thrives in both strategic planning and hands-on environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Define and execute the organisation's IT strategy aligned with business goals

- Oversee all aspects of IT, including infrastructure, networks, applications, security, hardware, and software

- Lead cybersecurity initiatives, ensuring robust protection, compliance, and risk management

- Advise the business on IT architecture, systems implementation, and digital transformation

- Manage vendors, budgets, and IT roadmaps

- Drive continuous improvement and introduce scalable processes and governance

- Explore and implement emerging technologies, including AI-driven solutions, where appropriate

Requirements

- Proven experience in a senior IT leadership role

- Strong generalist IT background across infrastructure, networks, applications, and security

- Experience working in SMEs or scaling businesses, with the ability to introduce enterprise-level practices

- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach when needed

- Demonstrated experience advising leadership teams and influencing business decisions

- Solid understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and risk management

- Exposure to or interest in AI technologies and their business applications
