We are seeking an experienced and strategic IT Head to lead and manage the organization's overall IT operations, infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, and digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for aligning technology strategies with business objectives, ensuring high availability of IT systems, managing IT teams and vendors, and driving operational excellence across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the organization's IT infrastructure, applications, networks, and security operations
- Develop and implement the overall IT strategy, roadmap, and governance framework aligned with business goals
- Oversee IT operations, service delivery, and support functions ensuring system availability and performance
- Manage enterprise applications, ERP systems, cloud platforms, and business-critical technologies
- Ensure implementation of cybersecurity policies, risk management, backup, and disaster recovery plans
- Lead digital transformation and automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency
- Manage IT budgets, procurement, licensing, and vendor relationships
- Establish and monitor IT policies, SOPs, SLAs, and compliance standards
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand technology requirements and deliver effective solutions
- Lead, mentor, and develop the internal IT team and external partners
- Oversee infrastructure upgrades, system implementations, and technology projects
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, and audit requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in IT Operations / Infrastructure / Technology Management
- Proven experience in a leadership role such as IT Manager / IT Head / Infrastructure Manager
- Strong knowledge of:
- IT Infrastructure & Networks
- Cybersecurity & Risk Management
- Cloud Technologies (Azure / AWS / Microsoft 365)
- ERP & Enterprise Applications
- Data Backup & Disaster Recovery
- IT Governance & Compliance
- Experience managing multi-functional IT teams and vendors
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes and service management
- Experience in budgeting, IT procurement, and vendor negotiations
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- ITIL / PMP / CISSP / Microsoft / Cloud certifications
- Experience leading digital transformation initiatives
- Exposure to enterprise environments with multi-site operations
- Knowledge of UAE regulatory and cybersecurity standards
