What the job involves- Provide leadership, aligning legal and compliance strategies with the organisation's overall goals and objectives
- Build and develop a high-performing legal and compliance team, providing guidance, mentorship, and growth opportunities
- Conduct due diligence investigations and prepare legal opinions and reports regarding transactional matters
- Participate in negotiations and assist in structuring and executing corporate transactions
- Provide legal work required pre-Investment Committee, including term sheets, exclusivity agreements, and letters of interest
- Stay up to date with changes in corporate laws and regulations and assess their impact on the organization
- Develop and implement compliance programs to ensure adherence to applicable legal requirements
- Review and implement risk management strategies and ensure compliance with investment policies
Who we are looking for- Law degree and common law qualified
- Experience in drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements
- Proven ability to conduct due diligence investigations and prepare legal opinions and reports
- Familiarity with Lux CSSF regulatory requirements is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
