TGRC is excited to partner a high-growth C&I solar and distributed energy solutions provider, backed by one of the largest family offices in the UAE. The company develops, finances, constructs, and operates rooftop solar, ground-mounted industrial systems, and energy optimization solutions for commercial and industrial clients across the GCC.

The Head of Legal will be an important strategic business partner to the executive management team, business development leads and will lead all legal support for C&I solar project and contract negotiations, regulatory compliance, operational contracting, strategic transactions and managing external counsels where necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Negotiate PPAs, solar leases, EPC, O&M agreements, supply contracts, and commercial proposals.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE energy regulations, including DEWA, ADWEA, SEWA, and landlord regulations.
  • Support corporate structuring, joint ventures, and new market entry.
  • Establish contract templates, compliance policies, and legal processes.
  • Advise senior management, business development and project teams on legal strategy and operational risks.
  • Manage external counsels on project financing, M&A and other specialised matters where necessary.

Expectations

  • 8-12 years PQE, preferably from energy and infrastructure industries.
  • Strong experience in project contracts, M&A, cross-border deal structuring, and regulatory matters.
  • Familiarity with GCC legal frameworks is a must.
  • Fluency in English is required, Arabic is a plus.
