Job Description

Head of Marketing – Exhibitions

We are seeking a Head of Marketing – Exhibitions to lead the marketing strategy for a large-scale international exhibition portfolio. This role is responsible for driving audience growth, brand positioning and commercial performance through integrated, data-driven marketing campaigns.

Working closely with commercial, partnerships and conference teams, you will deliver multi-channel campaigns that attract visitors, delegates, exhibitors and sponsors while strengthening the event's market position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver the overall marketing strategy for a major exhibition or event portfolio
  • Lead integrated marketing campaigns to drive visitor, delegate and exhibitor acquisition
  • Manage brand positioning and ensure consistent messaging across all channels
  • Lead digital marketing initiatives including paid media, search, social, CRM and marketing automation
  • Work closely with commercial teams to support revenue growth and exhibitor acquisition
  • Manage media partnerships and industry collaborations to expand reach
  • Monitor campaign performance, analyse audience data and optimise marketing effectiveness
  • Lead and develop a high-performing marketing team

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or a related field
  • Experience in senior marketing roles within exhibitions, B2B events, conferences or media
  • Strong experience delivering large-scale, multi-channel marketing campaigns
  • Knowledge of digital marketing, CRM systems and marketing automation tools
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Analytical and results-driven with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
