Head of Marketing – Exhibitions
We are seeking a Head of Marketing – Exhibitions to lead the marketing strategy for a large-scale international exhibition portfolio. This role is responsible for driving audience growth, brand positioning and commercial performance through integrated, data-driven marketing campaigns.
Working closely with commercial, partnerships and conference teams, you will deliver multi-channel campaigns that attract visitors, delegates, exhibitors and sponsors while strengthening the event's market position.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver the overall marketing strategy for a major exhibition or event portfolio
- Lead integrated marketing campaigns to drive visitor, delegate and exhibitor acquisition
- Manage brand positioning and ensure consistent messaging across all channels
- Lead digital marketing initiatives including paid media, search, social, CRM and marketing automation
- Work closely with commercial teams to support revenue growth and exhibitor acquisition
- Manage media partnerships and industry collaborations to expand reach
- Monitor campaign performance, analyse audience data and optimise marketing effectiveness
- Lead and develop a high-performing marketing team
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or a related field
- Experience in senior marketing roles within exhibitions, B2B events, conferences or media
- Strong experience delivering large-scale, multi-channel marketing campaigns
- Knowledge of digital marketing, CRM systems and marketing automation tools
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills
- Analytical and results-driven with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
