The RoleWe are hiring a Head of Media / Media Lead to take ownership of our media direction, visual identity, and publishing control.
This role sits above photographers and videographers and ensures that all media output aligns with PFDC values, safeguarding standards, and brand consistency.
This is not a content creator or influencer role.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage photographers and videographers
Define and protect PFDC's visual identity and tone
Control what content is captured, used, and published
Approve all external media before release
Ensure media use aligns with player welfare and safeguarding standards
Separate internal performance documentation from external-facing content
Escalate sensitive decisions to senior management when required

RequirementsProven experience in media, content, or brand leadership
Experience managing creatives (photographers, videographers, editors)
Strong understanding of brand consistency and professional boundaries
Ability to say no and protect standards
Professional, calm, and structured mindset
Nice to HaveExperience in sports, education, or youth environments
Understanding of safeguarding and responsible media use
Experience working within structured organizations
