Job Description

SVP, Asset Management Middle Office | Head of Trade Support & Data

Location: Dubai, UAE (Visa sponsorship and comprehensive relocation package provided)

A leading asset management firm is seeking an experienced SVP, Asset Management Middle Office | Head of Trade Support & Data to oversee the end-to-end investment trade lifecycle and lead a high-performing team across trade support, performance analytics, and operational controls.

This senior leadership role is responsible for ensuring efficient and compliant trade operations, managing post-trade processes, driving automation initiatives, and maintaining strong governance and risk controls across multi-asset investment portfolios.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end trade lifecycle across equities, fixed income, FX, and derivatives.
  • Manage teams covering trading operations, trade support, reconciliation, performance measurement, and risk analytics.
  • Oversee trade controls, settlement monitoring, exception management, and operational risk processes.
  • Drive automation, process improvement, and data governance initiatives.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs, SLAs, and service delivery standards.
  • Partner with Portfolio Managers, Custodians, Fund Administrators, Compliance, and Risk teams to ensure seamless operational support.
  • Support audits, regulatory requirements, and internal control frameworks.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor a high-performing middle-office team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • 15+ years experience in asset management operations, middle office, or institutional trading environments.
  • Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of the investment trade lifecycle across multiple asset classes.
  • Experience with trade support, reconciliations, performance reporting, collateral management, and operational controls.
  • Knowledge of investment platforms such as Bloomberg AIM, Aladdin, Charles River IMS, or similar.
  • CFA Level 2 or above.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
