As the Head of Operations & Settlement, will be responsible for the seamless execution, settlement, and safekeeping of securities across domestic and global markets. Your goal is to build a scalable, automated operational engine that powers our digital trading platform while maintaining gold-standard compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Lifecycle Mastery: Direct the end-to-end clearing and settlement flow, ensuring high-velocity transaction processing via Muqassa and Edaa.
- Client Asset Advocacy: Design and enforce rigorous safeguards and segregation protocols for client assets, ensuring 100% alignment with CMA standards.
- Corporate Action Management: Orchestrate complex events including dividends, stock splits, and IPO allocations with absolute precision.
- Market Infrastructure Liaison: Serve as the firm's bridge to Tadawul, custodian banks, and international brokerage partners to facilitate cross-border trade.
- Systems Innovation: Lead the charge on automation, directing UAT and system enhancements to support high-volume, digital-first trading.
- Risk & Oversight: Build a culture of operational excellence, monitoring daily positions and resolving breaks with speed and accuracy.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Credentials: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; CME-1 certification is mandatory (or near-term eligibility).
- Domain Expertise: 8–10 years in the engine room of a brokerage or custody provider, with an intimate knowledge of Saudi market infrastructure.
- Digital Mindset: Proven experience managing operations for high-volume, tech-driven trading environments.
