Head of Operations & Finance Management
The Head Operations will report directly to the Managing Partners and collaborate with senior leadership to support the firm’s strategic growth and expansion in the MENA region. We are seeking a dynamic leader who will not only own the firm’s fiscal responsibilities but will also take full accountability for the operational functions, ensuring that the firm's operations run smoothly and efficiently. This individual will be hands-on, capable of both strategic planning and executing tasks as necessary to achieve operational excellence.
In addition to overseeing the finance team, this role will be responsible for designing and executing operational strategies that support the firm's ambitious growth goals. The Head of Finance and Operations will monitor and optimize internal processes, oversee firm-wide operational activities, ensure the seamless execution of day-to-day operations, and support the investment team in driving operational excellence across the organization. This role is based in Riyadh.
What you will be doing:
Operations Management & Support:
- Operational Strategy: Lead the development and implementation of robust operational strategies that align with the firm's goals, ensuring that processes are scalable, efficient, and adaptive to the firm's growth.
- Process Optimization: Continuously identify and implement process improvements to streamline workflow, reduce costs, and improve productivity. Drive change management initiatives to ensure seamless adoption of new processes.
- Oversee Daily Operations
- Vendor and Partner Management: Oversee vendor selection, onboarding, and ongoing management to ensure high-quality services at optimal cost. Maintain strong relationships with banking partners and other service providers to support firm operations.
- Fund Administration: Work closely with the Fund Administrator to manage investor onboarding, capital calls, distributions, and other fund-related activities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to investors.
Financial Management & Reporting:
- Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and delivery of accurate and timely financial statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS standards and providing strategic insights to senior leadership.
- Budgeting & Forecasting
- Cash Flow Management
- Audits & Controls: Lead the audit process, ensuring compliance with both internal controls and external regulatory requirements, while facilitating smooth and timely audits.
Investor Reporting & Portfolio Monitoring:
- Investor Communication
- Portfolio Oversight
Team & Technology Leadership:
- Team Development: Build, manage, and mentor the finance and operations team, fostering a culture of accountability and operational excellence across both onsite and remote team members.
- Technology Integration: Spearhead the integration of new technologies to enhance operational efficiency, streamline data management, and improve decision-making processes.
