Head of Oracle Practice
Job Description
We are establishing an Oracle practice and are looking for the leader who will build it from the ground up. Many of our clients run Oracle for finance, supply chain and human capital, and the region is in the middle of a large-scale shift from Oracle E-Business Suite to Oracle Fusion Cloud. This practice will own that layer for our clients, together with the integration between Oracle and Salesforce.
Based in our Cairo office, which will serve as the practice's delivery hub, you will define the offerings, establish the Oracle alliance, originate the first engagements, recruit the founding team and lead delivery — with full accountability for the practice as a business.
What You Will Do
Build and lead the practice
Based in our Cairo office, which will serve as the practice's delivery hub, you will define the offerings, establish the Oracle alliance, originate the first engagements, recruit the founding team and lead delivery — with full accountability for the practice as a business.
What You Will Do
Build and lead the practice
- Author and own the practice's 12-month business plan: offerings, pricing, margin targets, hiring plan and delivery model
- Define the service catalogue across Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, HCM, SCM and EPM implementations; EBS 12.2 upgrades; EBS-to-Fusion Cloud migration and re-implementation; application managed services; and Oracle-Salesforce integration
- Own practice bookings, revenue, utilisation and gross margin
- Enrol and progress Arcsen within Oracle PartnerNetwork, working toward Cloud Service Expertise designations
- Build co-sell and referral relationships with Oracle's Middle East sales and partner organisation
- Originate and close the practice's first engagements
- Lead presales: solution design, estimation, proposals, statements of work and responses to public- and private-sector tenders across the GCC
- Introduce Oracle services into Arcsen's existing client base
- Personally lead or directly oversee the practice's early engagements
- Establish the delivery methodology, estimation model, quality gates, governance and escalation paths
- Act as executive sponsor for Oracle clients
- Recruit and develop the founding team: solution architects, Financials, Supply Chain and HCM functional leads, integration specialists and project managers
- Grow the Cairo delivery bench and run the practice certification programme
- Design joint Oracle and Salesforce propositions — lead-to-cash, field service to supply chain and maintenance, customer master data — with Arcsen's Salesforce and MuleSoft teams
- 12+ years in Oracle Applications consulting, including 5+ years on Oracle Fusion Cloud, gained within a systems integrator or consulting environment
- Deep hands-on functional and/or solution-architecture expertise in both Oracle E-Business Suite R12 and Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP. Financials and Procurement are essential; Supply Chain and/or HCM are highly valued
- A verifiable record of successful delivery in a leadership capacity (engagement lead, delivery lead or solution lead), including at minimum: two end-to-end Fusion Cloud implementations taken through go-live; one EBS-to-Fusion Cloud migration or re-implementation; and one EBS implementation or major upgrade. References from these engagements will be requested
- Prior practice, competency or delivery leadership with accountability for revenue, margin and utilisation
- Demonstrated commercial ownership: you have originated and closed consulting engagements, led solutioning and presales, and authored proposals and statements of work
- Delivery experience with clients in the GCC, including regional localisation requirements (e.g., ZATCA e-invoicing, VAT, WPS, GOSI, Hijri calendar, Arabic-language reporting) and familiarity with public-sector procurement
- Established relationships within Oracle's Middle East partner and sales ecosystem
- Experience recruiting, developing and leading Oracle consulting teams
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Accounting or a related field
- Fluent English and the ability to travel up to 25% across the region
- Oracle Cloud Implementation Professional certifications (Financials, Procurement, SCM or HCM)
- Experience building a practice or business unit from inception
- Oracle Integration Cloud and/or MuleSoft experience, ideally integrating Oracle with Salesforce
- Exposure to Oracle EPM (Planning, Financial Consolidation and Close) and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
- Background at Oracle Consulting or a top-tier Oracle partner
- Business-level Arabic
- MBA or a professional accounting qualification (CPA, CMA, ACCA)
- Competitive compensation with a practice-linked performance bonus
- A founding leadership role with a direct line to the CEO and a seat at the leadership table
- Sponsorship for Oracle certifications and continuous professional development
- Comprehensive medical insurance and benefits including family members
- Regional exposure across Arcsen's offices in the GCC
- A workplace recognised by Great Place to Work as one of the Best Workplaces in Technology in 2023 and 2024
