Role Overview
We are seeking a visionary and data-driven Head of Payments to lead the strategic development and operational execution of our global payments infrastructure. This role is pivotal in integrating multi-currency and crypto payment rails, optimizing transaction flows, and delivering robust, tech-enabled solutions that support both our brokerage and exchange platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
- Define and execute the global payments strategy aligned with business growth across CFD/FX and crypto verticals.
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, compliant, and cost-efficient payment solutions.
Global Remit with Local Execution:
- Build and manage a global payments framework with the flexibility to develop and deploy local payment rails where required.
- Ensure regional relevance and compliance while maintaining centralized oversight and performance standards.
Infrastructure Development:
- Architect and evolve a global payments ecosystem that supports multi-currency fiat and crypto transactions.
- Ensure seamless integration with banking partners, PSPs, blockchain networks, and internal platforms.
Data-Driven Optimization:
- Leverage data analytics to monitor performance, reduce friction, and enhance payment success rates.
- Implement predictive models and dashboards to drive decision-making and operational efficiency.
Technology & Innovation:
- Champion automation, API-first design, and modular architecture to future-proof payment systems.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to build secure, user-friendly payment interfaces.
Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure adherence to global regulatory standards, AML/KYC protocols, and crypto asset compliance.
- Proactively manage risk exposure across payment channels and jurisdictions.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in leading payments functions within fintech, brokerage, or crypto exchange environments.
- Deep understanding of all payment ecosystems, including settlement, reconciliation, and fraud prevention.
- Strong technical acumen with experience in payment gateway integrations, blockchain protocols, and data analytics.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage vendors, and drive cross-border initiatives.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks across MENA, EU, and APAC regions is a plus.
