What This Role Is About

Our client, a large FMCG organisation, is looking for a Head of Planning, based in Cairo, to lead planning operations and drive supply chain efficiency across the business.

This role will be responsible for developing and executing planning strategies, optimising demand and supply planning processes, and ensuring effective coordination across manufacturing, commercial, and supply chain functions.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to improve forecasting accuracy, enhance inventory management, and ensure the business is well positioned to meet market demand.

You will also play a key role in strengthening planning capabilities, improving processes, and driving operational excellence across the organisation.

The Client's Definition of the Ideal Fit

• 10+ years of planning experience within FMCG
• Must have prior experience within food manufacturing
• Strong experience in demand planning, supply planning, and production planning
• Proven experience managing planning functions and leading teams
• Strong understanding of forecasting, inventory optimisation, and manufacturing processes
• Experience working closely with commercial, supply chain, and operations teams
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
