Head of Product Design

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Salary: 35,000 - 40,000 AED per month (€100,000 per annum, tax free)

Relocation package available

We're partnering with a technology company looking for a Head of Product Design to take ownership of how its products look, feel and work for customers.

This is a rare opportunity to have a genuine influence on design across an entire product portfolio. You'll join as the first dedicated Product Design leader, initially staying hands-on while establishing the foundations for a design function that will grow around you.

Your first major challenge will be transforming the experience of a core customer platform, before expanding your impact across the wider product portfolio.

You'll have the freedom to define what great design looks like, introduce new standards and ways of working, and ultimately build the team needed to take the function forward.

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years in Product Design / UX, including senior or lead-level experience.
• Experience establishing, building or significantly evolving a design function.
• Strong hands-on UX and UI design skills - you're still excited to get into the work yourself.
• Experience building and maintaining design systems.
• A background designing complex B2B, enterprise or technical products.
• Strong user research and usability-testing experience.
• Comfortable working closely with Product Managers and Engineers.
• Able to bring structure and direction to environments where not everything has been figured out yet.
• The ambition to go from hands-on founding designer to leader of a growing design team.
