This role requires a rare combination: deep B2B SaaS product experience and an authoritative understanding of both traditional accounting standards and the complexities of digital asset data.
This is an early, high-impact, equity-only role (standard 4-year vesting, 1-year cliff) that will directly shape the core architecture and user experience of our platform.
Who We Are Looking For
A Product Leader with deep experience in scaling complex B2B SaaS platforms, who also possesses a strong, verifiable understanding of financial accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and the challenges of digital asset reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Vision & Roadmap: Define CryptaCount's product vision, establish the long-term roadmap, and prioritize features from MVP to enterprise scale.
- Compliance-First Design: Ensure all product features are engineered to meet the stringent, non-negotiable needs of professional accountants, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
- Execution: Work directly with the engineering team to manage sprints, define acceptance criteria, and deliver a clean, reliable, and compliant product.
- Data-to-Report Bridge: Own the process of translating raw, on-chain/off-chain crypto data into clear, auditable financial statements (e.g., general ledgers, trial balances).
- Regulatory Alignment: Act as the internal champion for technical compliance, staying current with evolving GAAP/IFRS, IASB, and crypto accounting frameworks.
- Product Discovery: Conduct deep customer interviews with finance managers and auditors to uncover pain points and validate solutions.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate intensely with Sales and Marketing to articulate the product's value proposition and competitive differentiation.
Qualifications
- 8+ years in product management, with a track record in B2B SaaS, preferably in fintech, complex accounting systems, or audit/compliance software.
- Essential Accounting Depth: Strong, verifiable understanding of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS).
- High Preference: Holding a professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent) is a significant advantage.
- Familiarity with blockchain fundamentals, decentralized finance (DeFi), and the specific accounting challenges posed by digital assets.
- Experience building complex B2B data, reporting, or compliance layers.
- Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to operate independently in a resource-constrained, high-velocity environment.
