A leading UAE-based design, fabrication and production business specialising in high-end bespoke builds for luxury, hospitality, retail, events and large-scale exhibition projects is hiring a Head of Production to lead its multi-site manufacturing operations across the UAE.
This is a senior leadership role overseeing end-to-end production delivery across complex, high-precision projects — from design coordination through fabrication, installation, and on-site execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead multi-factory production operations across fabrication and build environments
- Own the full production lifecycle including design prep, fabrication, installation and dismantling
- Drive operational excellence through KPIs, SLAs, scheduling and productivity improvement
- Implement lean manufacturing principles (5S, Kaizen, Kanban) to improve efficiency and reduce waste
- Oversee technical production across carpentry, joinery, steel fabrication, finishing, upholstery, graphics and structural builds
- Manage ERP systems and production reporting (cycle times, yield, downtime, costing, labour efficiency)
- Lead, coach and develop production teams (circa 10+ direct reports)
Requirements
- 7+ years experience in production/manufacturing leadership
- Background in exhibitions, events, fit-out, hospitality, retail or bespoke fabrication preferred
- Strong technical understanding of fabrication processes (wood, steel, finishing, structures)
- Experience managing multi-site production teams and complex workflows
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills
- Lean manufacturing / Six Sigma exposure preferred
