Key Job Accountabilities
Provide managerial and technical direction for project controlsincluding reporting, cost, schedule, change, and risk managementthrough fitforpurpose procedures and workflows.
Manage project controls activities and coordinate inputs across engineering, construction, HSEQ, planning, cost control, and other functions.
Ensure contractors implement effective project controls measures, particularly in change, risk, and issue management, and in alignment with organizational standards.
Oversee the preparation and delivery of project controls deliverables in accordance with project management requirements.
Lead the creation, maintenance, and periodic updating of the Project Control Plan throughout the project lifecycle.
Coordinate the collection, consolidation, analysis, and reporting of project control dataincluding progress, trends, and forecaststo identify potential issues early.
Manage implementation of approved project changes, ensuring cost and schedule impacts are fully assessed and incorporated.
Evaluate contractor performance, resolve discrepancies, and ensure integrated planning and cost control systems are established and functioning.
Act as the primary interface between the Business Manager and contractors on all matters related to project controls and reporting.
Part B: Person Specification Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Sciences or Engineering.
Knowledge & Experience
Minimum 10 years of experience in project functions such as project management, engineering, construction, or procurement within the oil & gas industry.
Minimum 2 years in supervisory roles or oversight of contractor/supplier/vendor personnel.
Demonstrated experience in cost, schedule, change, and risk management.
Minimum 3 years experience in leadership or supervisory roles.
Experience working with FEED/EPC contractors and within multidisciplinary project teams.
Technical & Business Skills
Strong understanding of project controls systems, processes, and reporting requirements.
Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
Strong stakeholder management and influencing abilities.
High computer literacy, with proficiency in project controls and reporting tools.
