Role Description
The Head of Project Finance will lead the firm's project and structured finance function.
The full-time, on-site role in Dubai focuses on complex financing transactions for clients.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, structure, and execute complex financing transactions.
- Design financial structures for large-scale projects.
- Conduct financial, risk, and scenario analyses.
- Advise on funding strategies and collaborate with legal teams, clients, lenders, and investors.
- Ensure transactions are bankable, compliant, and commercially aligned.
- Develop internal frameworks and best practices.
- Mentor junior team members and support business development.
- Contribute to regional and international market growth.
Qualifications
- Strong finance and project finance skills, including project viability evaluation, cash flow modeling, and funding strategies.
- Advanced financial structuring and structured finance capabilities.
- Experience designing complex debt and equity structures for large projects or corporate transactions.
- Strong quantitative analysis, risk assessment, scenario modeling, and financial data interpretation skills.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- CFA, CPA, or equivalent certification is advantageous.
- Proven project finance experience in a law firm, financial institution, or advisory firm.
- Cross-border or infrastructure transaction exposure is preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, leadership, and mentoring skills.
- High integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to compliance and risk management.
