Job Purpose:
The Head of Projects is responsible for overseeing the execution and delivery of all M squared projects on site, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within the approved requirements, and to the expected quality standards.
The role leads the Projects and site teams and oversees construction execution, contractor performance, quality, and Health & Safety across all projects.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee construction and site execution across all M squared projects.
- Ensure projects are executed in line with approved designs, specifications, schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
- Lead Project Directors, Project Managers, Construction Managers, HSE, and site teams.
- Monitor project progress and proactively address site challenges, delays, and execution risks.
- Ensure effective coordination between contractors, consultants, and internal teams.
- Oversee contractor and subcontractor performance, including mobilization, resources, productivity, and quality of work.
- Drive recovery plans and corrective actions where projects are behind schedule or facing execution challenges.
- Ensure consistent construction and site management standards across all projects.
- Oversee Health & Safety across project sites and ensure compliance with company standards and applicable regulations.
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure incidents, risks, and safety observations are properly addressed.
- Ensure construction quality and minimize defects, rework, and execution-related issues.
- Support project testing, commissioning, handover, and close-out from an execution perspective.
- Provide management with regular visibility on project progress, major risks, challenges, and required decisions.
- Lead, coach, and develop the Projects team and ensure clear accountability across project sites.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
- Minimum 20 years of relevant experience, preferably within real estate development or large-scale construction.
- Strong experience in managing multiple projects, construction execution, contractors, HSE, and project delivery.
- Proven leadership experience managing senior project and site teams.
- Strong stakeholder management, decision-making, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
