Head of PR

About the Role
We are looking for an ambitious and commercially minded Head of PR to join a growing agency in Dubai. This is a senior leadership role for someone who can combine strong PR expertise with a proven track record of winning new business, growing client accounts and building high-performing teams.
The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the agency's PR offering and driving its next stage of growth. You will be responsible for developing new opportunities, strengthening existing client relationships and helping to establish the agency as a leading PR partner in the market.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and grow the PR division, setting the strategy and commercial direction for the function
- Drive new business across existing and prospective clients, from identifying opportunities through to pitching and conversion
- Build and maintain strong senior-level relationships with clients, prospects and industry stakeholders
- Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts through new services, markets and client relationships
- Take ownership of major pitches and proposals, developing compelling PR strategies and commercial propositions
- Develop the agency's PR offering, positioning and reputation within the market
- Lead, mentor and develop the PR team, creating a strong culture of performance and collaboration
- Oversee senior client relationships and ensure consistently high standards of strategic and creative PR delivery
- Work closely with the wider agency leadership team to identify cross-selling and integrated opportunities
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities to support the agency's growth strategy
- Take responsibility for revenue growth, pipeline development and overall commercial performance of the PR function
About You
- 10+ years of PR agency experience, with significant experience at a senior leadership level
- Proven track record of growing a PR business, division or client portfolio
- Strong new business and pitching experience with demonstrable commercial results
- Well-connected across the UAE and wider MENA market, with an established network of senior clients and industry contacts
- Strong understanding of the UAE PR and communications landscape
- Experienced in managing and developing senior teams
- Commercially driven, entrepreneurial and comfortable being responsible for growth
- Strong strategic communications and PR expertise
- Excellent presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Confident operating at C-suite and senior client level
- A natural leader who can help shape the culture, proposition and future direction of the agency
