Key Responsibilities:
Quality Management System
- Develop, implement, and maintain the company's Quality Management System (QMS).
- Ensure compliance with applicable quality standards (ISO and industry-related standards).
- Establish quality policies, procedures, and control plans.
- Lead internal and external quality audits and ensure timely closure of findings.
Manufacturing Quality Control
- Oversee quality control activities across:
- Incoming materials
- In-process inspections
- Final inspections
Continuous Improvement
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and enhance process capability.
- Promote a quality-first culture across all production and support functions.
Customer & Stakeholder Management
- Manage customer quality requirements, complaints, and feedback.
- Act as the main point of contact for quality-related customer issues.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality concerns.
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, coach, and develop Quality teams across plants or sites.
- Define roles, responsibilities, and performance objectives.
- Build strong collaboration with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Sales.
Reporting & Management Interface
- Prepare and present quality performance reports to senior management.
- Track and analyze quality KPIs and trends.
- Support strategic decision-making through data-driven insights.
OEM & Automotive Quality Compliance
- Lead the implementation and maintenance of automotive quality systems, including:
- Ensure full compliance with OEM customer-specific requirements (CSRs).
- Serve as the primary quality interface for OEM customers.
Proven experience of 15 - 20 years in Quality Control.
