Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Lead Civil Procurement Engineer located in Cairo, Egypt. The role involves sourcing, evaluating, and securing both local and international materials and subcontracted services especially from markets like China, Turkey, and Europe or similar markets to meet project timelines, budgets, and technical specifications.

Qualifications

• Develop and manage procurement schedules aligned with project timelines
• Review technical specifications and BOQs with technical and site teams
• Issue RFQs, evaluate technical/commercial offers, and recommend qualified vendors
• Negotiate pricing, delivery, and contract terms with suppliers and subcontractors
• Coordinate with site, engineering, and finance teams for forecasting and approvals
• Monitor vendor performance, ensure quality compliance, and manage documentation
• Support in value engineering initiatives and cost-saving strategies
