Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the retail strategy in line with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Oversee day-to-day retail operations across all stores to ensure efficiency, profitability, and adherence to brand standards.
  • Drive sales performance and profitability through effective planning, merchandising, and promotional initiatives.
  • Lead the development and rollout of new retail locations, including site selection, fit-out, and launch.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and suppliers.
  • Ensure consistent delivery of an exceptional customer experience across all touchpoints.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to inform retail strategy.
  • Establish KPIs and regularly review performance, taking corrective action where needed.
  • Recruit, train, and develop retail management teams to build strong leadership pipelines.
  • Collaborate with marketing, merchandising, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum 10+ years of progressive experience in retail management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and expanding retail networks.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in P&L management.
  • Excellent leadership, people management, and communication skills.
  • Experience in [industry: e.g., fashion, sports, FMCG, luxury retail] preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with strong problem-solving skills.
