Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the retail strategy in line with the company's overall business objectives.
- Oversee day-to-day retail operations across all stores to ensure efficiency, profitability, and adherence to brand standards.
- Drive sales performance and profitability through effective planning, merchandising, and promotional initiatives.
- Lead the development and rollout of new retail locations, including site selection, fit-out, and launch.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and suppliers.
- Ensure consistent delivery of an exceptional customer experience across all touchpoints.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to inform retail strategy.
- Establish KPIs and regularly review performance, taking corrective action where needed.
- Recruit, train, and develop retail management teams to build strong leadership pipelines.
- Collaborate with marketing, merchandising, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field (Master's preferred).
- Minimum 10+ years of progressive experience in retail management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and expanding retail networks.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in P&L management.
- Excellent leadership, people management, and communication skills.
- Experience in [industry: e.g., fashion, sports, FMCG, luxury retail] preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with strong problem-solving skills.
