Job title: Head of Retail Education

About the role
The Head of Retail Education is responsible for defining, leading and deploying the global retail education strategy for Parfums de Marly and Initio across all regions and distribution channels.
Based in Dubai and reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, this role plays a critical part in driving brand excellence, retail performance and customer experience through world-class education programs. The position oversees the creation, implementation and continuous optimization of all training initiatives, ensuring consistency, relevance and impact across both brands.
The role works in close collaboration with Global Marketing and Commercial teams, external partners, and leads the global vision for the Brand Academies across owned boutiques and partner stores.
This is a highly international role requiring frequent travel.
Key Responsibilities:
Global Retail Education Strategy & Leadership
- Define and lead the global retail education strategy, in line with brand positioning, commercial objectives and customer experience standards.
- Act as the global reference and subject-matter expert for retail education across both brands.
- Oversee the launch, implementation and evolution of the Brand Academies for owned boutiques and partner networks worldwide.
- Ensure consistency of training standards while adapting programs to regional needs, market maturity and local constraints.
- Support and upskill regional education teams, fostering best practices and talent development
Training & Field Excellence
- Oversee all training preparation, delivery and follow-up activities in close collaboration with regional teams.
- Deliver key strategic trainings personally (global launches, flagship doors, regional seminars).
- Implement on-the-field coaching programs for top doors and key markets (role plays, observations, one-to-one coaching, in-store assessments).
- Collaborate with Global Brand Management, Trade Marketing and Commercial teams to measure training effectiveness and impact on retail performance.
- Analyze KPIs and feedback to continuously improve existing programs and design new initiatives.
Content & Learning Experience
- Lead the creation and delivery of high-impact, customized training programs for beauty advisors worldwide, both in-class and through digital learning platforms.
- Ensure excellence in brand storytelling, product knowledge, selling techniques and luxury customer experience.
- Drive brand culture by delivering and overseeing onboarding programs for new joiners and new store openings.
- Partner with Global Brand Management to ensure all educational content is fully aligned with brand strategy, launches and long-term vision.
- Define global learning priorities and collaborate with regions on annual and launch-related training calendars.
- Oversee the update, optimization and innovation of content on digital training tools and platforms.

Desired Background & Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Retail Education, Training or Learning & Development within the luxury fragrance or beauty industry
- Proven experience in global roles, with strong exposure to international retail environments
- Demonstrated experience in developing and deploying global training programs
- Strong understanding of luxury brand positioning and omnichannel retail environments
- Comfortable with digital tools, e-learning platforms and social networks
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Language skills: Fluent in English and French (mandatory)
