BettingJobs is partnering with a leading online casino operator in their search for a Head of Risk & Fraud to join their team in Dubai.
The successful candidate will shape strategy, lead the team, and oversee all money flows across debit/credit cards, alternative payment methods, and cryptocurrency transactions ensuring that the business stays secure, PSP compliant, and resilient in both established and grey markets.
Responsibilities:
- Own the Strategy: Develop and deliver the global risk, fraud prevention, and crypto risk framework.
- Lead & Inspire: Manage multi-functional team across fraud detection, player risk and payment oversight.
- Safeguard Payments: Oversee all monies in and out of the business deposits, withdrawals, refunds, chargebacks, and crypto settlements.
- Stay Ahead: Build detection models and monitoring systems to combat evolving fraud tactics across card payments, APMs, and crypto.
- Drive Excellence: Develop, implement, and report on operational SLAs, ensuring best-in-class performance across risk and fraud functions.
- Collaborate Globally: Work closely with Payments, Product, BI, and Tech, while partnering with PSP's and crypto exchanges and key suppliers
Requirements:
- 5+ years in senior fraud, risk, or AML leadership, within iGaming.
- Strong track record in grey markets and multi-jurisdictional risk.
- Deep knowledge of card payments, APMs, and crypto risk.
- Hands-on experience with fraud detection tools, SQL, and blockchain forensics.
- Proven success in building and scaling fraud and risk teams.
- Strategic leader with sharp decision-making skills in high-pressure situations.
