Head of Technical
Department: Technical Projects Management

Role Purpose
The Head of Technical leads the corporate technical function, providing strategic oversight and governance across all engineering disciplines and projects. This role ensures engineering excellence, compliance, and innovation at the organizational level, influencing corporate decisions and supporting long-term business objectives.
Key Accountabilities
- Define and implement the organization's technical vision, standards, and best practices across all projects.
- Advise General Management on technical risks, opportunities, and innovation strategies.
- Oversee all engineering disciplines, including:
- Civil & Structural Engineering
- Architectural Engineering
- Mechanical (HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection)
- Electrical & Low Current Systems
- Establish corporate technical policies, workflows, and compliance frameworks.
- Ensure alignment with operational excellence and sustainability objectives.
- Collaborate closely with operations and key stakeholders to optimize technical solutions.
- Drive value engineering and cost optimization initiatives across projects.
- Develop technical performance dashboards and provide strategic reports to General Management.
- Monitor KPIs related to technical efficiency, compliance, quality, and innovation.
- Lead corporate-level technical risk management.
- Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, Security, Environment, and Sustainability (HSSE) policies, manuals, and Standard Operating Procedures. Monitor implementation and address gaps with relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Master's degree and/or PMP certification is preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in technical leadership roles, including corporate-level exposure.
- Proven expertise in multi-disciplinary engineering and large-scale construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, engineering standards, and regulatory frameworks.
