About the Role:
We are looking for a Head of Total Rewards & Job Architecture to lead the development and governance of total rewards strategy, job architecture, grading framework and compensation structures for the Egyptian market. In this leadership role, you will ensure that reward practices are competitive, compliant, transparent and aligned with the company's long-term organizational strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and lead total rewards strategy for Egypt, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market practices.
- Own and continuously develop the job architecture, including job families, career levels, role profiles and governance principles.
- Lead job evaluation and grading processes to ensure internal equity, role clarity and consistent decision-making.
- Design, review and govern salary structures, pay bands, allowances and compensation guidelines.
- Oversee compensation benchmarking and market analysis for the Egyptian market and recommend appropriate reward positioning.
- Advise HR leadership, Finance and senior business stakeholders on compensation decisions, governance and workforce cost implications.
- Lead annual compensation review, salary adjustment and incentive-related processes in close collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Govern employee benefits programs to ensure competitiveness, compliance, cost efficiency and employee value.
- Develop policies, frameworks and approval processes related to compensation, benefits and job architecture.
- Build reward analytics, reporting and recommendations to support strategic workforce planning and leadership decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration; MBA, master's degree or relevant certification is an advantage.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in compensation & benefits, total rewards, job architecture or related HR leadership roles.
- Strong experience in designing and governing job grading frameworks, salary structures and compensation policies.
- Sound understanding of reward practices, labor market dynamics and compensation requirements in Egypt.
- Experience with job evaluation methodologies such as Korn Ferry, Hay or similar frameworks is a strong advantage.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret compensation data and translate insights into clear recommendations.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to advise senior leaders and collaborate across HR, Finance and business functions.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality and governance mindset when handling sensitive compensation information.
- Advanced MS Excel and HR analytics skills; experience with HR systems or compensation tools is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English.
