POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Executive Director (ED), the Head, Strategy & Community Partnerships leads BCS's corporate services, volunteer engagement, fundraising, and community partnerships to strengthen organisational excellence and community impact.
The role oversees corporate functions, drives strategic initiatives, builds partnerships with churches, corporates, government agencies, and community organisations, and grows volunteerism and philanthropic support to advance BCS's mission.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Corporate Services
- Lead Human Resources, Finance, IT, Administration, Facilities, Governance, and Risk Management.
- Ensure strong systems, compliance, operational excellence, and digital transformation.
- Community Partnerships & Volunteerism
- Develop strategic partnerships with churches, corporates, government agencies, schools, volunteers, and community organisations.
- Grow volunteer engagement and community participation across BCS programmes.
- Lead fundraising, donor stewardship, grant development, and resource mobilisation.
- Strategy & Organisational Development
- Support the implementation of BCS's strategic priorities, including new services and the Tampines expansion.
- Drive organisational improvement, innovation, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Leadership
- Lead and develop the Corporate Services and Community Partnerships teams.
- Represent BCS at sector platforms and external engagements as delegated by the Executive Director.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Business, Social Sciences, Public Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
- At least 8-10 years of leadership experience in the social service, public, healthcare, corporate, or nonprofit sectors.
- Experience in corporate services, partnership development, volunteer management, fundraising, or organisational development is preferred.
