Head - Visual Merchandising, Home Box, Dubai

OBJECTIVE :The job holder will be responsible for positioning Home Box as the destination of choice in the Home Furnishing Value Segment in all markets to maximize sales and long-term profitability by creating an experiential customer journey, effective store layout design and the implementation of campaigns and initiatives. Managing all Interior Design and Communication responsibilities. Also, Responsible for Maintaining consistent Visual experience across all stores in the Territory.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Commercial Planning & Store layouts

Drive an inspirational customer journey in-stores. Responsibility for the Store layouts , Zoning and visual impression

Responsible for the Business Commercial calendar activities planning and implementation of activities to a high standard and within the agreed timeframe

Create guidelines for Store ID/VM teams to improve the interior design, visual merchandising and communication standards in the store - Department Merchandising Principles

Responsible for all ID/VM related activities from store layouts to implementation of in-store activities assortment and schematics with territories , to build ups in close coordination with the Store and Project teams Projects (NEW and Refit stores )

Responsible for NEW and Refit stores - commercial store layout planning in collaboration with Architects and the store VM Territory teams

Monitoring and monthly tracking of VM Opex and Capex as per territory agreed budgets for Campaigns, New launches etc.

2. People Competence and Training

Carry out trainings for VM teams in all territories to increase competence and build the next level leaders in the

Responsible for creating a competence and development strategy forvInterior Designers and Visual Merchandising at all levels

Contribute to fulfilling the Retail business plan and growth opportunities objectives by securing a competent pool of creative Visual Merchandises and Interior Design specialists

Conducting trainings and workshops for all territories on the shopfloor and classroom trainings, whenever needed
