Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, for a Head Waiter. The Head Waiter will oversee the dining area, manage the workflow among the waitstaff, and ensure exceptional customer service for all guests. Responsibilities include welcoming and seating guests, taking accurate food and beverage orders, coordinating with kitchen and bar staff, and maintaining a high standard of service throughout the shift. The role also involves maintaining cleanliness, ensuring compliance with safety and hygiene regulations, and handling guest inquiries or feedback professionally.
Qualifications
- Strong Customer Service skills to ensure excellent guest experiences
- Knowledge of Food & Beverage and Food Service practices
- Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and interpersonal
- Basic Cooking knowledge and understanding of food preparation is a plus
- Ability to lead by example and effectively manage a team of waitstaff
- Previous experience in a similar role in hospitality or fine dining
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are an advantage
