Head Waiter/ Waitress

The Head Waiter/ Waitress at Novecento is the senior server on the floor, responsible for leading an assigned section of the dining room, delivering the full sequence of service to brand standard, and supporting the supervisory team throughout service. This role sets the benchmark for the waiting team in product knowledge, guest engagement, and professionalism, ensuring every guest experiences the warmth, quality, and consistency associated with Novecento.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a waiter, including at least 1 year as a Head Waiter or Senior Server in
• an upscale or premium casual dining venue.
• Italian restaurant experience and knowledge of Italian food and wine preferred.
• Food Safety & HACCP certifications required or obtainable upon hire.
• Fluency in English; Italian or additional languages are an advantage
• Strong service skills with the ability to lead the floor by example.
• Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking abilities under pressure.
• Detailed knowledge of Italian cuisine, wine, and premium casual dining service standards.
• Guest-centric approach with strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
• Proficiency in POS and reservation systems.
• High level of personal presentation and professionalism.
