Health Planner

Position: Health Planner

Role Overview:The role will assist the Planning team, conducting user workshops, developing schedules of accommodation, preparation of Room Data Sheets and checking of Room Layout sheets.

Reporting Relationship: Sr. Health Planner

Supervisory Responsibilities: No

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Bachelor of Science in Nursing or similar

2+ years of experience in a similar role or junior level biomedical engineer

Responsibilities:

Develop health facility project briefing and verifying the design requirements

Developing Schedules of Accommodation

Preparation of Room Data Sheets

Review of Room Layout sheets

Verification of project schedules of accommodation and plans with local heath authority guidelines

Undertaking User Group consultation and documenting comments in minutes

Proficiency in Word, Excel is required

High level use of HFBS briefing software is required (Training provided)

Skills:

Excellent project management skills and proficiency in excel, word and outlook

Excellent English language communication skills both verbal and written

A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace

Excels at operating in a fast paced environment

Attention to detail is essential in this role

Excellent people skills, open to direction and collaborative work style and commitment to get the job done

At least 4 + years of experience as a registered nurse, 2 + years of experience as a Health Facility Planner or a junior level biomedical engineer

Specialist knowledge: Healthcare planning, healthcare design
