Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HSE Officer to support the leadership of the HSE function and ensure the implementation of health, safety, and environmental standards across operations. The role focuses on driving compliance, continuous improvement, and maintaining a strong safety culture aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the HSE Management System (IMS) in line with international standards
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies, legal requirements, and client standards across projects and sites
- Conduct hazard identification, risk assessments, and implement control measures
- Perform HSE audits, inspections, and legal compliance checks
- Monitor HSE performance, report findings, and drive corrective/preventive actions
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, ensuring proper analysis and reporting
- Coordinate HSE activities across worksites and construction sites
- Deliver HSE training and support awareness programs
- Manage external HSE resources and coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers
- Contribute to emergency preparedness planning and response procedures
- Support documentation for audits and management review meetings
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant HSE experience
- Registered with ADOSH and holding a minimum Level 4 HSE qualification
- Strong knowledge of HSE legislation, ISO standards, and auditing practices (ISO 19011)
- Experience in risk assessment, compliance audits, and incident investigations
- Good communication, presentation, and training skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and coordinate across teams
- Willingness to travel as required
