Health Safety Environment Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the development and execution of health and safety programs in compliance with local regulations and company policies.

- Conduct risk assessments and site inspections to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.

- Develop and deliver safety training programs to employees at all levels.

- Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and recommend preventive measures.

- Ensure fire safety systems and emergency preparedness plans are up-to-date and functional.

- Maintain accurate safety and security documentation.

- Stay updated on legal and industry best practices related to safety and security.

- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management.

- Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures.

- Manage security personnel and coordinate shift schedules.

- Monitor surveillance systems and conduct regular security audits.

- Handle incidents such as theft, breaches, or emergencies, and prepare incident reports.

- Liaise with local law enforcement and emergency response teams when needed.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Security Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

- Minimum of 3–4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

- Strong knowledge of security systems, safety regulations, and risk management.

- Proven leadership and crisis management skills.

- Excellent communication and training delivery skills.

- Has connections with the Safety Office in 10th of Ramadan City.

- Able to work outside the office when required.

- Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) is a plus.
