We are looking to hire a highly experienced HSE Engineer for a prestigious building construction project in Dubai, working on the Supervision Consultant side.
The candidate will be responsible for implementing and monitoring Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements on site, ensuring compliance with project specifications, UAE regulations, and client standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular site safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
- Monitor contractor compliance with approved HSE plans, method statements, and risk assessments.
- Identify unsafe acts and conditions and ensure timely corrective actions.
- Review and monitor Permit-to-Work systems and high-risk activities.
- Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness programs.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses and prepare detailed reports.
- Prepare weekly and monthly HSE reports for the client and project management team.
- Coordinate with site supervision teams, contractors, and stakeholders on all HSE matters.
- Ensure compliance with UAE HSE regulations, consultant requirements, and project standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
- NEBOSH IGC/Diploma certification (mandatory).
- Minimum 8 years of relevant UAE experience in building construction projects.
- At least 3–5 years of recent experience with a recognized Supervision Consultant.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in high-rise, residential, commercial, or villa projects.
- Sound knowledge of UAE construction safety regulations and international HSE standards.
- Excellent reporting, communication, and coordination skills.
Working Schedule: 6 days / 48 hours
Due to project requirements, only candidates with a minimum of 8 years of UAE experience in building construction and supervision consultancy projects will be shortlisted. Other profiles will be reviewed and retained for future opportunities
