Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Officer to join our team in Dammam. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations while promoting a safe and healthy working environment across operations and facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and safety programs.
- Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Identify workplace hazards and perform risk assessments.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective actions.
- Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions.
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Prepare HSE reports, records, and documentation.
- Coordinate emergency response activities and promote a strong safety culture.
- Monitor contractor and employee compliance with safety requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to health, safety, and environmental performance.
Requirements:
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in occupational health & safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in HSE, safety, or related roles.
- Knowledge of HSE regulations and safety standards.
- Familiarity with risk assessments, incident investigations, and safety audits.
- Strong communication and reporting skills.
- Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA are preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Willingness to work on-site in Dammam.
