JOB SUMMARY:
The HSE Officer is responsible for implementing, monitoring, and enforcing Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements for earthworks activities. The role ensures compliance with project HSE plans, client requirements, local regulations, and company safety standards to maintain a safe and environmentally responsible worksite.
RESPONSIBILITIE
- S:Conduct daily site safety inspections for excavation, grading, backfilling, compaction, and heavy equipment operation
- s.Ensure compliance with approved method statements, risk assessments, and permit-to-work system
- s.Monitor safe operation of earthmoving equipment including but not limited to excavators, bulldozers, graders, rollers, dump trucks, and loader
- s.Identify hazards and implement corrective and preventive action
- s.Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and HSE awareness session
- s.Ensure proper use of PPE by all site personne
- l.Monitor traffic management and pedestrian safety within the worksit

- S:Minimum 3+ years of HSE experience in civil construction or earthworks project
- s.Experience in excavation, trenching, roadworks, grading, and heavy equipment operations preferre
- d.NEBOSH IGC / OSHA certification or equivalent preferre
