Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Health Safety Environment (HSE) Officer located in Abu Dhabi. The HSE Officer will be responsible for monitoring workplace safety, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, and implementing occupational health policies and procedures. Key responsibilities include conducting risk assessments, developing safety programs, providing training to employees, inspecting worksites to identify hazards, and ensuring NEBOSH standards are adhered to. The HSE Officer will work closely with project teams to establish a safe and efficient working environment.

Qualifications
  • Expertise in Health & Safety, Environment Health and Safety (EHS), and Workplace Safety protocols
  • Strong knowledge of Occupational Health and compliance practices
  • Certification in NEBOSH or equivalent health and safety qualification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with teams and implement safety policies effectively
  • Ability to conduct risk assessments and deliver training programs related to health, safety, and environmental standards
  • Previous experience in the engineering, construction, or oil & gas sectors is a strong advantage
  • Bachelor's degree in Health, Safety, Environmental Science, or a related discipline is preferred
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools and familiarity with regulatory compliance standards
