About the Role

We are looking for an experienced HSE Supervisor to support, monitor, and enforce Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards across our Wind Farm operations. The role plays a critical part in ensuring compliance with legal, corporate, and contractual requirements while proactively preventing risks to people, assets, and the environment.

Key Responsibilities

HSE Operations & Risk Management

  • Conduct daily HSE site inspections, audits, and safety tours.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks and hazards.
  • Support site studies such as E-HAZOP, Arc Flash, and similar risk assessments.
  • Ensure implementation of the permit-to-work system and safe isolation procedures.

HSE Systems, Monitoring & Reporting

  • Support implementation of the Plant's HSSE Management System in line with ACWA NOMAC standards.
  • Monitor site HSE KPIs and report on performance.
  • Prepare daily and monthly HSE reports, including incidents, observations, and corrective actions.
  • Use digital HSE tools such as Synergi Life, Mishkaty, or similar systems.

Training & Safety Culture

  • Deliver and support HSE training programs for employees and contractors.
  • Promote a strong safety culture through awareness campaigns and toolbox talks.
  • Advise contractors on HSE standards and best practices.

Emergency Preparedness & Incident Management

  • Support emergency response planning and conduct mock drills.
  • Respond immediately to incidents following established emergency protocols.
  • Participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis.

Stakeholder & Compliance Management

  • Maintain effective relationships with regulators, emergency services, contractors, and lenders.
  • Support compliance with lender and regulatory HSE performance requirements.

Resources & Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor PPE inventory and ensure timely availability of safety equipment.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and HSE change programs.

Qualifications & Experience

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Professional HSE certification (NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, IEMA or similar).
  • Membership in a recognized international HSE institution is preferred.
  • 610 years of HSE experience in Wind Farm Operations & Maintenance or similar industrial environments.

  • Strong knowledge of local and international HSE standards and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to influence, engage, and manage diverse stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, analytical, and detail-oriented.
