Job Description

QHSE Supervisor | Quality, Health, Safety & Environment

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented QHSE Supervisor to join our team and drive excellence in quality, health, safety, and environmental compliance across our operations.

Role Purpose

The QHSE Supervisor will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and improving QHSE systems in line with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards, ensuring compliance, risk mitigation, and continuous operational improvement.

Key Responsibilities

QHSE Management

  • Implement and maintain QHSE policies, procedures, and systems in line with ISO standards
  • Conduct internal audits, inspections, and compliance checks across projects
  • Ensure all sites adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Monitor and report on QHSE performance and KPIs

Health & Safety

  • Perform risk assessments for critical and high-risk activities
  • Lead incident and accident investigations, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures and intervene in unsafe practices
  • Conduct toolbox talks, HSE trainings, and employee inductions
  • Supervise inspection of firefighting, safety, and emergency equipment

Environmental Management

  • Ensure compliance with environmental and waste management procedures
  • Support environmental impact assessments and emergency preparedness plans
  • Respond to environmental incidents and ensure mitigation actions are implemented

Quality & Continuous Improvement

  • Support implementation of quality management systems (ISO 9001)
  • Identify non-conformities and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across operations

Key Competencies

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to influence and enforce compliance without direct authority
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills
  • Strong knowledge of QHSE systems and ISO standards
  • Ability to manage multiple sites and priorities

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field
  • NEBOSH IGC Certification (Mandatory)
  • Certified ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 Auditor (preferred)
  • Proven experience in QHSE roles within FM, construction, or industrial environments
  • Good command of English (written & spoken)
