About the Role
We are looking for an experienced HSE Supervisor to join our infrastructure project in Jeddah. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading all Health, Safety, and Environmental activities on site, ensuring full compliance with company policies, client requirements, and Saudi regulations while promoting a proactive safety culture across the project.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise all HSE activities across the project site.
- Lead and manage the site HSE team and monitor daily safety performance.
- Ensure compliance with company HSE procedures, client requirements, and local regulations.
- Conduct daily site inspections and identify unsafe conditions and unsafe acts.
- Prepare and review Risk Assessments (RA), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and Method Statements.
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness campaigns.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor subcontractors to ensure compliance with HSE standards.
- Ensure proper implementation of Permit to Work (PTW) procedures.
- Prepare HSE reports, inspection reports, statistics, and KPI reports.
- Coordinate with project management to ensure safe execution of all construction activities.
- Support internal and external HSE audits and ensure timely closure of findings.
- Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement across the project.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in HSE within infrastructure construction projects.
- Proven experience as an HSE Supervisor or Senior HSE Officer.
- Strong experience in infrastructure works such as roads, utilities, earthworks, drainage, and civil works.
- Excellent knowledge of Saudi HSE regulations and international safety standards.
Required Certifications
- NEBOSH IGC (Mandatory)
- IOSH Managing Safely / IOSH (Mandatory)
Preferred Certifications
- OSHA 30-Hour (Construction)
- ISO 45001 Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor
- Incident Investigation
- Risk Assessment / HIRA / JSA Training
- First Aid / CPR
- Fire Safety / Fire Warden
