For sake of clarity, this is not a RE development or construction hardcore profile we're looking for as there's a full PMC in place managing contractor, design consultant and respective subcontractors.
We are looking rather for someone with solid healthcare exposure, that helped commissioning hospitals and medical facilities in the region (ideally Abu Dhabi DMT-DOH knowledge) and capable of translating insights to the executives, doctors and operators for informed decision.

We are currently looking for an Expert in Healthcare Commissioning and Licensing, with strong, hands-on experience across the healthcare domain.
Please find below the scope of work for the role:
Construction & Commissioning Expert – Healthcare
- Support the overall direction for the planning, design, and construction of healthcare facilities, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives, budget, and timelines.
- Review and oversee all phases of the construction lifecycle, from design through commissioning and handover.
- Coordinate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, medical planners, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
- Ensure full compliance with healthcare-specific regulations, codes, and standards.
- Establish and maintain project governance, risk management, quality assurance, and change control processes.
- Provide regular updates on project budgets, schedules, and cash flow, as required.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the Project Director, senior stakeholders, medical leadership, and external partners, ensuring clear executive-level communication and reporting.
- Support construction quality reviews, safety performance, and site operations, enforcing best practices and zero-harm safety standards.
- Lead and oversee QC commissioning, testing, and validation of building systems, including MEP, medical equipment coordination, IT, and life-safety systems, to ensure readiness for clinical operations.
Mandatory Experience
- Healthcare buildings, systems, and infrastructure readiness
- Construction commissioning (electricity, water, HVAC, security, sewage, irrigation, etc.)
- Non-DOH approvals and licensing, including Municipality, ADPD, Civil Defence, and related authorities
- DOH licensing requirements, licensing readiness, and inspection processes
