We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HVAC Supervisor to oversee third-party HVAC (DX & PACU), mechanical, and electrical maintenance activities in accordance with OEM recommendations and Tarshid R&R / SLA requirements.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising site teams, ensuring preventive and corrective maintenance compliance, optimizing system performance, and maintaining guaranteed energy savings targets.
Job Responsibilities:
- General monitoring of the good performance of the unit mechanically and electrically.
- Cleaning and washing (evaporator coils and air filters using water and recommended chemicals, then inspect for any damages and rectify them)
- Measuring suction and discharge pressure of the gas and checking the amount of the oil.
- Measuring the voltage difference of the electrical connection to the unit.
- Checking for gas leakage.
- Freon level check and top up, included. Check the operation and contamination level of coils and measure refrigerant system pressure (indoor & outdoor).
- Inspect belts for wear and adjust tension, lubricate all bearings as required.
- Ensure that the unit's protection parts work efficiently.
- Build and coach site team to handle the equipment and attend to all breakdowns.
- Inspect the pump and float switch of the condensate drain system.
- Check the condensate drain system connections and mountings and clear any blockages originating from the unit.
- Inspect the pump and float switch of the condensate drain system.
- Measure the winding resistance and noise levels for fans, motors, and belts (indoor & outdoor).
- Check compressor winding resistance and noise levels.
- Monitor unit performance using LG MV diagnostic tools to detect and address breakdowns before they occur.
- Document all tasks performed during each visit and report observations to the customer. Align with the day-to-day activities, PPM schedule and following the guaranteed Energy Savings, maintaining ON/OFF schedules technical report submission on the condition of the units per unit to the client after conducting the previous inspections mentioned above, and accompanied by technical recommendations to improve the performance of the units and to ensure the safety of their operation. Attending service calls and urgently examining the breakdowns. Provide recommended list of critical spare parts to insure prompt responses and resolution.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, HVAC Technology, or related field.
- Valid HVAC certification preferred.
- Refrigerant handling certification is an advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 - 8 years of HVAC maintenance experience (DX & PACU systems).
- At least 2 - 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong experience in SLA-based maintenance contracts.
- Experience in commercial or facility management environments preferred.
- Familiarity with energy efficiency compliance requirements is an advantage.
