About the Position
We are seeking a motivated and highly skilled HVAC Lab Instructor to join our Mechanical Engineering Department. The ideal candidate will bring strong theoretical knowledge, practical handson skills, and the ability to deliver engaging instruction in both classroom and laboratory environments.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Strong knowledge and practical understanding of HVAC systems, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and design (priority).
- Ability to teach additional Mechanical Engineering subjects, including:
- Engineering Design and Project Planning
- Business Startup and Management
- Thermal Fluid Engineering and Engineering Mechanics Subjects
- Health and Safety
- On Campus Training (OCT)
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver highquality theoretical lectures and handson laboratory instruction in HVAC and related Mechanical Engineering topics.
- Prepare teaching materials, lesson plans, and assessment tools.
- Provide guidance to students during lab activities and project work.
- Ensure proper use of lab equipment and uphold safety standards.
- Participate in departmental activities, curriculum development, and quality improvement initiatives.
Desired Skills
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Industry experience in HVAC systems (an advantage)
