Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Heavy Bus Driver to safely transport passengers while ensuring compliance with UAE traffic regulations and company policies. The ideal candidate must possess a valid UAE Heavy Bus License (Category 6) and Light Vehicle License (Category 3), have good communication skills in English, and be willing to work flexible hours, including on-call duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate heavy buses for passenger transportation as per assigned routes and schedules.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers at all times.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any defects or maintenance requirements.
- Adhere to UAE traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company transportation policies.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper condition of the assigned vehicle.
- Coordinate with dispatch and operations teams regarding schedules and transportation requirements.
- Keep accurate records of trips, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance activities.
- Be available for on-call duties and emergency transportation requirements as needed.
- Ensure professional conduct and represent the company positively while interacting with passengers and clients.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Valid UAE Heavy Bus Driving License (Category 6) – Mandatory.
- Valid UAE Light Vehicle Driving License (Category 3) – Mandatory.
- 2–4 years of experience as a Heavy Bus Driver in the UAE.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Strong knowledge of UAE roads, traffic regulations, and safe driving practices.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including extended shifts and on-call assignments.
- Good interpersonal skills and a customer-service-oriented approach.
- Physically fit and capable of handling job-related responsibilities.
Additional Requirements
- Candidate must currently be available within the UAE for interviews and driving tests.
- Must be clean-shaven during duty hours.
- Must be willing to work in Abu Dhabi.
- Weekly day off as per company policy.
- Annual leave as per UAE Labour Law.
