Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Heavy Driver to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a valid UAE heavy vehicle driving license and a minimum of 5 years of experience in driving heavy vehicles.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate heavy vehicles to transport goods and materials to designated locations
- Follow all traffic laws and company regulations while on the road
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
- Report any vehicle malfunctions or defects to the supervisor immediately
- Load and unload goods and materials from the vehicle as required
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups
- Communicate effectively with the logistics team to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods
- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines while operating the vehicle
- Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained at all times
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Requirements:
- Valid UAE heavy vehicle driving license
- Must have valid UAE driving license (Category 5/7) for driving heavy vehicles.
- Have secondary school certificate with Fair knowledge of written and spoken English
- Able to drive 40 trailer in congested areas
- OFFSHORE EXPERINCE IS PREFFERD
