We are looking for an experienced and confident heavy machinery mechanic to join our ;The heavy machinery mechanic s job is to diagnose, adjust, repair, or overhaul mobile mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment. These include cranes, bulldozers, graders, excavators, wheel loaders, heavy duty dump trucks, rollers and most types of earth moving.
Responsibilities
Repair and replace damaged or worn parts.
Test mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturers .
Clean parts by spraying them with grease solvent or immersing them in tanks of solvent.
Adjust, maintain, and repair or replace subassemblies, such as transmissions and crawler heads, using hand tools, jacks, and ;
Adjust and maintain industrial machinery, using control and regulating devices.
Fabricate needed parts or items from sheet metal.
Direct workers who are assembling or disassembling equipment or cleaning parts.
Checking the machine s technical condition before mobilization.
Communicate with the supplier any related machine issue.
Manage and coordinate with the supplier mechanic for machine breakdown,
Strong personality with excellent technical background.
Good experience for engine cooling system flushing.
Good experience on mechatronic system.
Electrical and electronic troubleshooting background on earth moving equipment.
Operate and inspect machines or heavy equipment in order to diagnose defects.
Diagnose faults or malfunctions to determine required repairs, using engine diagnostic equipment such as computerized test equipment and calibration.
Dismantle and reassemble heavy equipment using hoists and hand tools.
Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment and vehicles.
Examine parts for damage or excessive wear, using micrometers and gauges.
Schedule maintenance for industrial machines and equipment, and keep equipment service records
Read and understand operating manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings.
Overhaul and test machines or equipment to ensure operating efficiency.
Assemble gear systems, and align frames and gears.
Fit bearings to adjust, repair, or overhaul mobile mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic.
Weld or solder broken parts and structural members, using electric or gas welders and soldering.
Requirements
Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management
In-depth knowledge of industry and its place on the market
Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions
Excellent conflict-resolution and decision-making abilities
Fluent communication, reading and writing in English
UAE driving license
High school degree or equivalent; Bachelor s degree would be a plus
At least 3 years worth of experience in the field
Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal health and safety regulations
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
Strict adherence to company standards and safety procedures
Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
Bonus points if you have experience in the freight and transport industry and able to communicate fluently in Urdu
