Hiring for Procurement Executive – Freight & Logistics

• We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Executive with proven experience in the Freight & Logistics industry to manage procurement activities in the UAE. The role involves sourcing, vendor management, cost control, and timely procurement of goods and services required for logistics, transportation, and operational support functions.

Key Responsibilities :

Procurement Operations

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities including vendor sourcing, RFQs, price comparison, negotiations, and purchase order processing.
• Procure goods and services related to freight and logistics operations such as transport services, fleet-related items, warehouse consumables, equipment, IT, and office supplies.

Vendor & Contract Management

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers and service providers within the UAE.
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors, transporters, and service providers.

Cost Control & Compliance

• Monitor procurement budgets and ensure cost-effective purchasing decisions.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, internal controls, and UAE regulations.

Coordination & Support

• Coordinate closely with operations, warehouse, fleet, admin, and finance teams to understand procurement needs.
• Follow up on deliveries, resolve discrepancies, and manage supplier-related issues.

Reporting & Records

• Maintain procurement records, supplier databases, and purchase documentation in ERP systems.
• Prepare procurement reports, cost analysis, and vendor performance evaluations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 3years of procurement experience within the Freight & Logistics or Supply Chain industry.
• Proven experience handling procurement activities in the UAE market.
• Familiarity with local suppliers, logistics service providers, and market pricing.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Good understanding of procurement processes and contract management.
