School Description: A British International School in Cairo is seeking an experienced Head of Performing Arts to join from August 2026. The school follows the British curriculum and offers a well-established international teaching environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the Performing Arts department (Music and/or Drama)
Plan and deliver engaging and high-quality lessons
Oversee curriculum development within the department
Support student performance and examination preparation
Contribute to whole-school initiatives and leadership Requirements:
A relevant degree and recognised teaching qualification
Minimum of two years experience teaching the British curriculum
Proven HOD experience in Performing Arts
Relevant qualifications in Music and/or Drama are essential Salary & Benefits: Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum (tax-free) Salary Split: 70% GBP / 30% EGP Accommodation: Housing allowance provided Benefits: Medical cover, annual flights, and child places
